Ricardo Portilla

Ricardo Portilla started their career at the University of Michigan in 2010 as a graduate student instructor and math placement advisor. Ricardo then joined FINRA in 2011, where they held various roles in software development, big data development, and testing until 2018. From 2018 to 2022, they worked at Databricks, progressing from Solutions Architect to Industry Principal in the financial services industry. Throughout their career, Ricardo has demonstrated expertise in big data technologies and software development.

Ricardo Portilla holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Michigan, obtained between 2006 and 2011. Ricardo has also completed various certifications in Decentralized Finance (DeFi), DevOps, Go programming, Terraform, Python, Machine Learning, Trading, GCP, Bayesian Methods, Computer Networking, Spark, and Hadoop between 2014 and 2022.
