Tao F. is a highly experienced engineering leader currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Databricks since October 2020, managing the data discovery team that consists of over 10 engineers across multiple sub-teams. Prior roles include Senior Staff Engineer and Engineering Leadership positions, where Tao led product alignment and technology design for innovative solutions, significantly enhancing the search experience and data governance. With contributions to the Apache Software Foundation as a commit member and PMC member for Apache Airflow, and as a co-founder and tech lead for the Amundsen project at The Linux Foundation, Tao has a strong background in workflow automation and data discovery technologies.
