Tathagata Das

Tathagata Das is a Staff Software Engineer at Databricks since May 2014, contributing as a core developer to Structured Streaming (Apache Spark) and Delta Lake. Tathagata has also served as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Databricks, where responsibilities included leading the development of Spark Streaming. Additionally, Tathagata is a Project Management Committee member for Spark at The Apache Software Foundation, demonstrating ongoing involvement in open-source projects. Academic experience includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a combined Bachelor and Master of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
