Denis Zaitcev

Denis Zaitcev is an experienced engineering manager at Datadog, overseeing engineering efforts since November 2024. Prior to this role, Denis served as an SRE at Tetrate for over four years, being the first SRE at a hyper-growth infrastructure startup and contributing extensively to various infrastructure and reliability domains, including CI/CD, observability, and multicloud SaaS platform launch. Denis also held senior SRE positions at Dropbox, focusing on the compute platform stack, and at Demonware, managing distributed storage infrastructure for online gaming services. Earlier experience includes a leadership role at Yandex, where Denis led an SRE team and was instrumental in scaling a major PaaS infrastructure, alongside foundational experiences as a system administrator. Denis holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Bauman Moscow State Technical University.
