Paras Malhotra

Paras Malhotra is a seasoned professional in information security, currently serving as the Sr. Director of Information Security at Datadog since June 2022, where the focus is on building trust with customers through robust security and compliance assurance. Prior experience includes a leadership role at Amazon Web Services from July 2013 to June 2022, advancing from Senior Manager to Principal Manager within the AWS Security organization, responsible for engineering strategy and security risk mitigation. Earlier roles included Specialist Senior Consultant at Deloitte & Touche, leading security and privacy engagements, and Quality Assurance-Team Lead at Dell SecureWorks, overseeing IPS/IDS testing. Paras began a career in cybersecurity as a Research Assistant at Iowa State University, where a Master’s degree in Information Assurance and Computer Engineering was earned.
