Romain Revol

Romain Revol is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in software development and architecture. Currently serving as an Engineering Team Lead at Datadog since November 2018, Romain focuses on stream processing and event platforms. Prior to this role, Romain held positions at Axway as Principal Software Engineer I and Principal Software Architect I, contributing to the Axway Decision Insight project after Axway's acquisition of Systar, where Romain was involved in the R&D team for the Systar Tornado project. Romain began their career at Swapcom and later at Sicap, developing core framework components and engaging in technical studies and life cycle management. Romain's educational background includes an engineering degree in Information Systems from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy and a master's degree in Software Engineering of Distributed Systems from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
