Tanaya Nawathe is a software engineer currently employed at Datadog since August 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a software developer at Nova, Tech for Good from April 2021 to June 2024, as well as internships at Datadog and Meta in summer 2023 and 2022, respectively. Additional technical experience includes web development at OnCampus and serving as a Dev Team Officer with ACM at UCLA. Tanaya co-founded Girls Who Edit, offering college essay consulting while donating proceeds to BLM and COVID-19 relief. Earlier research internships with NASA Ames Research Center involved significant contributions to studies on muscle atrophy and bone formation in microgravity. Tanaya holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UCLA, where studies spanned from 2020 to 2024, following a high school diploma earned with summa cum laude honors from Presentation High School.
