Aleks Jakulin is an accomplished data scientist and entrepreneur with extensive experience in creating innovative technology solutions. As Co-Founder and President of Data.Flowers since January 2024, Aleks focuses on automating interactive data visualization. In a significant role with Sledilnik.org, Aleks served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Volunteer Data Scientist, contributing to a successful COVID-19 data dashboard that gained substantial public use in Slovenia. Previous positions include Chief Innovation Officer at Katalys, where product strategy was developed, and Co-Founder of Katalys Ventures, which addresses digital advertising inefficiencies. Aleks founded 1o Inc., pioneering embeddable commerce technology, and held leadership roles at Ganxy. Additionally, Aleks has been involved in academia, redesigning Data Mining courses at Columbia University and leading research on Bayesian models. Educational credentials include a postdoctoral degree in Statistics from Columbia and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Ljubljana.
