Nick Watts

Nick Watts has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Nick started their career in 2015 as an Editorial Assistant at Resource Media Limited. Later in the same year, they transitioned to Anvil Group, where they initially worked as a Risk Analyst and later as a Senior Risk Analyst. In 2016, they joined CYJAX Limited as a Cyber Security Analyst and progressed to the role of Senior Cyber Security Analyst. From 2019 to 2022, Nick served as the Head of Operations at CYJAX Limited. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Dataminr as a Subject Matter Expert Manager, leading the Cyber Alerting Operations team.

Nick Watts' education history includes a Master of Science (MSc) in International Security from the University of Bristol, which they obtained from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Politics from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, where they studied from 2009 to 2012.

In addition to their degrees, Nick has obtained various certifications. Nick completed the "Ethical Hacking: The Complete Malware Analysis Process," "Threat Hunting Essential Training," and "The Cybersecurity Threat Landscape" courses from LinkedIn in 2023. In 2021, they obtained the "MITRE ATT&CK Defender™ (MAD) ATT&CK® Cyber Threat Intelligence Certification Training" from Cybrary. Furthermore, in 2018, they earned a Cyber EPQ certification from QUFARO.
