Tanya Shiu

Tanya Shiu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tanya currently works at Dataminr as a Sr. Manager in FP&A, a role they have held since October 2021. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Manager in FP&A at the same company from March 2020 to September 2021.

Before joining Dataminr, Tanya gained experience in the financial sector by working as a Financial Analyst at BARK from July 2018 to March 2020, and at Vungle from September 2017 to June 2018.

Tanya'scareer started in the research field, where they worked as a Research Assistant at S&P Global Ratings from September 2014 to September 2017. During this time, they also gained experience as a Research Data Analyst at the Center for Responsible Business from June 2013 to August 2014.

Tanya worked as a Sustainability Intern at Nimble Consulting Inc. from June 2013 to January 2014, a Business Development Intern at Banyan Water from June 2012 to August 2012, a Communications Intern at Rising Sun Energy Center from February 2012 to May 2012, a Public Relations and Promotions Intern at Allied Integrated Marketing from June 2011 to August 2011, and a Sports Marketing Intern at Leverage Agency from June 2010 to July 2011.

Through these roles, Tanya Shiu has developed a strong foundation in finance and research, and has gained valuable experience across various industries.

Tanya Shiu obtained their high school diploma from St. Paul's School in 2009. Tanya then went on to the University of California, Berkeley, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, and Environmental Science, Policy, and Management from 2009 to 2013.
