William Groves

William Groves has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and research. William started their career as a Summer Research Intern at Adventium Labs in 2005 and continued in this role until 2010. In 2011, they had a research visit and collaboration at Aristotle University in Greece. From 2012 to 2012, William worked as a Quantitative Research Intern at Quantlab Financial. In 2015, they became a Fellow at The Data Incubator and also started working as a Data Scientist at Dataminr, Inc. William was promoted to Senior Data Scientist at Dataminr, Inc. in July 2017. Additionally, William had a role as a Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota from 2008 to 2015.

William Groves has a strong education background in the field of Computer Science. William completed their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota between 2010 and 2015. Prior to that, they pursued their Masters of Science degree in Computer Science at the same university from 2005 to 2011. In 2004, William participated in a foreign exchange program at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where they studied Computer Science. William also obtained their Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota in 2005.
