Kateřina Henclová has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Test Analyst at ČMSS from August 2011 to December 2012. Kateřina then worked as an English Tutor from September 2009 to December 2013 and as a Mathematics Tutor from September 2010 to September 2013. From September 2013 to August 2016, Kateřina worked as a Software Engineer (student) at Ricardo, gaining experience in manual SW testing and programming. During this time, they also developed an innovative extension for simulation software as part of their master's thesis.
Following their time at Ricardo, Kateřina pursued a PhD in Applied Research and Interdisciplinary Cooperation at the Czech Technical University in Prague. Kateřina served as a Doctoral Student from October 2016 to March 2022, engaging in teaching classes, organizing seminars, and conducting research at the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering.
In 2019, Kateřina started working as a Data Scientist at various institutes, including the OMICS Proteomics Lab at BIOCEV research center and the Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion in Prague. Kateřina'srole involved using machine learning techniques to explore and analyze data, with a particular focus on classification, regression, and clustering. Kateřina also conducted research on the application of machine learning to plasma proteomics, resulting in a published paper on potential risk markers for sinusoidal obstruction syndrome.
Most recently, in 2023, Kateřina joined Datamole as a Data Scientist, where they continue to apply their expertise in machine learning.
While pursuing their career, Kateřina took a break to focus on being a stay-at-home parent from November 2018 to the present.
Kateřina Henclová began their education in 2010 at Charles University, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics in 2014. Afterward, they pursued further studies at Charles University and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Numerical and Computational Mathematics from 2014 to 2016.
In 2016, Kateřina enrolled at Czech Technical University in Prague to continue their academic journey. Kateřina is currently in the process of completing their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mathematical Engineering, which commenced in 2016 and is expected to conclude in 2022.
Additionally, Kateřina possesses the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) certification from Cambridge English Language Assessment, although the exact date of acquisition is not specified.
