Bart-Jan Maatman

Bart-Jan Maatman serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Klippa since November 2017, focusing on developing software solutions that enhance client efficiency, cost savings, fraud prevention, and compliance. Concurrently, Bart-Jan holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at DataNorth AI since March 2022, where expertise in AI is leveraged to assist companies in their digital transformation. Prior to these roles, Bart-Jan spent five years at KPMG Nederland, advancing from Trainee to Manager in Audit Financial Services, gaining extensive knowledge in auditing and financial accounting, particularly in IFRS and Dutch GAAP, as well as insights into US-SOX requirements. Bart-Jan's academic background includes a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Groningen, an International Executive Master of Auditing from Maastricht University, and a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from Hanze University.
