Prasad Varakur

Prasad Varakur has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of product management and architecture. Prasad is currently the Director of Product Management at DataPelago, where they are responsible for reinventing the data processing stack. Prior to this, Prasad worked at SolarWinds as the Director of Product Management, where they played a key role in developing IT management software. Prasad also worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Product Manager for Redshift, driving key functionalities in SQL functionality and query processing. Prasad has also worked at Couchbase, Huawei Technologies, EMC, Sybase (an SAP company), and Novell Inc., gaining expertise in areas such as query processing, database management systems, high availability, and cluster computing.

Prasad Varakur's education history begins with their enrollment at Andhra University from 1993 to 1997. During this period, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering. After completing their undergraduate studies, Prasad went on to join the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur from 1997 to 1999. Here, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science.
