Malinda Villanueva

Malinda Villanueva has over 18 years of work experience in the field of AS/400 Synon Consultant and Synon/2e Programmer/Analyst roles. Malinda began their career in 2002 as a Sr. Synon/2e Programmer/Analyst at Amway, where they developed software applications for an order fulfillment system and maintained and enhanced existing code using SYNON/2e, RPG, RPGLE, CL, QRY, and SQL. In 2004, they moved to The Baltimore Life Insurance Company as a Sr. Synon/2e Programmer/Analyst, where they developed new applications for ID3 Insurance software and performed unit testing of developed code. From 2008 to 2011, they worked at Micros Retail Systems as an Application Developer, where they developed, maintained and/or enhanced software applications for CWDirect order fulfillment system using SYNON 2e, CL, RPG, QRY and SQL. In 2011, they joined Cargill as a Sr. Synon/2e Programmer/Analyst, where they maintained and/or enhanced software applications for financial/investing software using SYNON/2e, RPG, RPGLE, CL, QRY, Showcase, and SQL. In 2012, they worked at CVS Health as a Technical Lead and at PDP Group, Inc. as a Sr. Synon/2e Programmer/Analyst. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at DataRich International and TRS NYC as an AS/400 Synon Consultant. Since 2017, they have been working at Mindshare Technologies as an AS/400 Synon Consultant.

Malinda Villanueva received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Natural Sciences (Information Science, Computer Science, Psychology) from the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg in 1995. Malinda also earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in Computer Technology (Information Science) from Westmoreland County Community College in 1989.
