Jonathan Carvalho

Jonathan Carvalho has worked in the field of data and machine learning since 2014. Jonathan started as a Laboratory Technician at Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic in 2014, where they managed the surgery, skills training and medical course simulation labs. In 2016, they joined Prevent Senior as a Senior Data Analyst, where they implemented BI solution frameworks, synthesized current business intelligence data, and used Machine Learning algorithms to analyze and solve complex business problems. Jonathan also worked as a Quality Control Specialist, where they developed and maintained KPIs, recorded and organized data for report generation and analysis, and collected and modeled data to evaluate trends using Tableau and R. In 2019, they joined Datarisk as a Lead MLOps Engineer, Lead Data Scientist, and Cientista de dados. In this role, they provided advanced technical support for clients using AI products, helped the product team improve models used inside AI solutions, and created custom made prototypes for new AI and data analysis products.

Jonathan Carvalho has a diverse educational background. Jonathan attended USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2008 to 2013, where they earned a degree in Biology. Jonathan also completed a degree in Biology Research from USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2008 to 2012. In 2017, they completed a Capacitação from Invitare in Clinical Research. Jonathan then completed a Pós Graduação from FIA - Fundação Instituto de Administração in Big Data Analisys from 2018 to 2019. In addition, Jonathan Carvalho has obtained several certifications, such as Liderando Times de Diferentes Perfis e Gerações from Escola Conquer in 2020, Build a Social Network with Flutter and Firebase from Udemy in 2019, Fundamentals for Data Analysis in Python from Data Science Academy in 2019, Web Development from Udemy Brasil in 2019, SQL Fundamentals course from SoloLearn in 2019, and Lead Auditor ISO 9001/2015 from Fundação Vanzolini in 2018.
