Yasin Dagasan is a Senior Data Scientist at Datarock with a background in mining and mineral engineering. Yasin has experience in developing algorithms for geotechnical analysis, integrating machine learning models in hydrogeological inversions, teaching statistics and mine engineering courses, and building predictive models for blast vibrations. Yasin also has internship experience in various mining operations and holds a Ph.D. in Mining and Metallurgical Engineering.

Datarock began as a way to monetize underutilized drill core imagery. They created low-level artificial intelligence and emerging technologies on secure cloud infrastructure with the goal of influencing geological workflows. They establish a solid technical foundation and expand beyond mining and exploration into other industries such as civilengineering.
