Marcos del Cueto, PhD

Marcos del Cueto, PhD, has held various roles in the field of data science since 2016. Marcos began as a Predoctoral Research Collaborator at Leiden University in 2016, followed by a Junior Visiting Research Fellow at UNSW in 2017. In 2018, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of New Mexico, and in 2019 they were a Research Associate at the University of Liverpool. Most recently, they have been a Senior Data Scientist at Dataseat (now part of Verve Group) since 2022.

Marcos del Cueto obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2013. Marcos then completed an Erasmus International Mobility Program at the University of Leeds, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in 2012. In 2015, they earned their Master's degree in Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Marcos then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2019. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Coursera in Applied Data Science with Python Specialization (2019) and Distributed Computing with Spark SQL (2020), as well as a One Star Diver certification from CMAS - World Underwater Federation (2017).
