Ed has been an entrepreneur and financial consultant for over 30 years. During this time he has worked with numerous early-stage high technology companies, specializing in the software business (initially specializing in both consumer and business software). His consulting projects have included initial part-time Chief Financial Officer positions at Forte Software (sold to Sun Micro Systems), Illustra Information Technologies (acquired by Informix), Palladium Studios (sold to Broderbund Software) and Cryptic Studios (acquired by Atari, Inc.).

Ed has also been a Board member of several publicly traded companies including Andalay Solar Inc. a developer and installer of solar panels and Icagen Inc. a provider of integrated drug discovery services to major pharmaceutical and to biotechnology companies.) Before beginning his consulting career, Ed was also controller and later CFO for Activision Inc. in the early days of the video game business. Ed is a retired CPA (New York). He earned his BBA in accounting from Temple University.
