Stephen Farrell

Stephen Farrell has worked in the tech industry since 2011. Stephen began their career at Version 1 as a Senior Applications Consultant in 2011 and then transitioned to Senior Enterprise Architect in 2012. In the same year, they also worked as a Senior Software Developer at Octagon Computer Services, where they designed and implemented a web-based accounting system for the credit union industry. In 2017, they returned to Version 1 as a Tech Lead and Senior Software Engineer. In 2019, they co-founded a startup, Liquify, as the Chief Technology Officer, where they developed an end-to-end proof of concept of a blockchain-backed marketplace. In 2020, they worked as a Senior Backend Engineer at Personio and a Senior Software Engineer at HubSpot. Finally, they are currently working as the Director of Engineering at Dataships.

Stephen Farrell attended the National College of Ireland from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bsc in Software Systems.
