Gerson Viergutz

Gerson Viergutz has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. In 2004, they started their career at Caiman Têxtil as a Faturista, responsible for invoicing, and later transitioned to the role of an Analyst de TI, where they managed IT infrastructure, network administration, and telecom contract administration. In 2009, Gerson founded Minhas Planilhas, a website where they write articles on Excel tips and creates Excel spreadsheets. Gerson continued their journey in the IT field at Descomplica in 2021 as a Professor and later joined Power BI Experience in 2022 as Head of Training. In 2023, they joined Dataside as Head of Training and became a Socio Fundador at SideSchool. Gerson has a strong background in IT and training roles across various organizations.

Gerson Viergutz completed their education from 2006 to 2009 at Faculdade Metropolitana de Guaramirim - FAMEG - Grupo Uniasselvi. Gerson obtained a degree in Administration with a specialization in Informatics.

In addition to their formal education, Gerson Viergutz has also obtained various certifications. Gerson became a Microsoft Certified Trainer in 2022-2023 and prior to that, in 2020-2021. Gerson completed a course in Power BI for Business and achieved certifications such as Exam 778: Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI, Exam 779: Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Excel, and MCSA: BI Reporting - Certified 2020. Gerson is also an Associate member of MTAC Brasil, an organization related to technology and computing.
