Juan Pablo Marin Diaz

Juan Pablo Marin Diaz has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and companies. Juan Pablo started their career as an IT Specialist at IBM Global Services from July 2005 to July 2008, where they were responsible for constructing and implementing IT solutions. Juan then worked as an Adjunct Professor at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana from July 2007 to July 2008.

In 2008, Juan joined ETH Zurich as a Research Assistant at the Center for Economic Research and the Signal and Information Processing Laboratory. Their responsibilities included reviewing economic papers and models, performing simulations, and focusing on topics such as growth theory, game theory, competition, and public policies. Their role at ETH Zurich lasted from October 2008 to August 2010.

Juan's passion for innovation led him to co-found and serve as the Chief Innovation Officer at aentropico from January 2012 to December 2014. During this time, they were also an Entrepreneur at Startup Chile in 2012 and at 21212 Digital Accelerator in 2013.

In 2011, Juan became the CEO of the latinno Foundation, where they worked until December 2014. At latinno, they spearheaded efforts to democratize innovation in Latin American society by utilizing collaborative, social networking, and crowd-sourcing mechanisms.

Juan's entrepreneurial journey continued as they became a CEO and Co-Founder at Datasketch in June 2015. Juan Pablo has played a pivotal role in leading and co-founding the company.

Additionally, Juan has enriching academic experiences as an Edmond J. Safra Network Fellow at Harvard University from September 2012 to June 2013.

Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Electronic Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where they studied from 2001 to 2007. In addition to their academic qualifications, Juan Pablo Marin Diaz has also obtained a certification in Refound's People Leader Training Program from Refound in October 2022.
