David Barré-Coquel

David Barr is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investment management. Since May 2003, David has held key leadership roles at PenderFund Capital Management, including CEO, President, Chief Investment Officer, and CFO, showcasing expertise in portfolio management. Prior to this, David served as an Investment Manager at FutureFund Capital from August 2000 to May 2003 and held the position of Past President at CFA Society Vancouver from June 2009 to June 2014. David holds an MBA in Finance from the Schulich School of Business at York University, obtained between 1998 and 2000, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from The University of British Columbia, earned from 1992 to 1997.
