Pratik Kulkarni

Pratik Kulkarni is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing and maintaining software solutions across various industries. Currently employed at DataStax since November 2021, Pratik focuses on Control Plane Infrastructure for Astra DB, the first serverless distributed version of Cassandra. Prior experience includes roles at Walmart Global Tech, where Pratik contributed to the Orders API for payment orchestration, and PayPal, with similar software engineering responsibilities. Pratik also worked at ItsOn, Inc., designing a Continuous Integration Framework using advanced technologies, and began a career at Syntel, where duties involved SQL job deployment and scheduling. Pratik holds a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai.
