Stella Mbogo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Stella currently works as a Senior Analytics Consultant at Datatonic since April 2023. Prior to that, they served as an Analytics Consultant at the same company from January 2022 to March 2023.

Before joining Datatonic, Stella worked at Aula as a Senior Data Analyst from June 2021 to November 2021. Stella played a significant role in shaping the product roadmap by delivering app insights and designing a user admin dashboard that reduced ticket response time. Stella also optimized student engagement insights and made qualitative feedback from educators more actionable. Stella contributed to setting impactful goals and OKRs by providing reliable data and designed a data product to manage multiple modules and promote engagement in online classrooms. Additionally, they researched and evaluated a natural language BI tool for easier self-serve analytics.

From November 2020 to June 2021, Stella worked as a Senior Data Analyst at Brooklyn Data Co., where they provided data analytics services to clients in various industries such as e-commerce, finance, and technology. Stella'sresponsibilities included auditing data infrastructure, creating technical demos, implementing Heap product analytics, reviewing code, managing data projects, and mentoring analysts.

Stella's experience at Andela as a Senior Coordinator Data & Analytics from January 2019 to November 2020 involved analyzing technical talent and providing insights to support the company's growth. Stella built a data model to suggest talent matches, promoted data democracy and self-serve analytics, coordinated cross-functional collaboration, and implemented data governance within applications. Prior to this role, they worked as a Talent Analyst at Andela from March 2018 to December 2018.

Stella Mbogo completed their education in the field of actuarial science. Stella first attended the University of Nairobi from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Actuarial Science. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in 2016 and continued until 2017. During this time, they pursued Core Technical Papers (CTs) in actuarial science. In addition to their formal education, Stella has obtained several certifications in analytics-related fields. Stella received the Mixpanel Partner Certification from Mixpanel in August 2022, the Heap Foundations Certified certification from Heap in February 2021, the dbt Certified Developer certification from dbt Labs in October 2022, and the Looker Certified LookML Developer certification from Google Cloud - Minnesota in February 2022.
