Borja Valero Polo

Borja Valero Polo serves as the Executive Director of EPC & Supply Chain at DataVolt since April 2025. Previously, Borja held various significant roles at Masdar from December 2016 to March 2025, including Director of Project Management Office, Head of Project Delivery, and Senior Project Manager for the DEWA 800 MW PV Project phase III in Dubai. As CEO of Shuaa Energy 2 from March 2020 to May 2022, Borja managed the 800 MW PV Plant in MBR Solar Park, Dubai. Prior experience includes Vice President of Construction and Project Management at SolarReserve, EPC Project Director at San Jose, and Project Manager for Industrial Plants at Cobra. Borja's career began as a Field Engineer at The Industrial Company and a Project Controls specialist at ABENGOA. Educational achievements include an IOSH Certificate in Managing Safety, a Global Executive MBA from IESE Business School, and degrees in civil engineering and hydraulics from ETSI Caminos Canales y Puertos and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
