Tarun S Bangari has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 1994, they worked at Tata Infotech Limited as a Senior Systems Analyst and Project Manager, gaining experience in programming, analysis, team leadership, and project management within the airlines industry. From 2000 to 2004, they worked as a Consultant at Exeter Group Inc., focusing on ERP projects in the higher education sector and launching Exeter Intranet on Microsoft SharePoint. Tarun then joined Akamai Technologies in 2004, serving as a Product Manager and later as a Senior Manager in Product Marketing. There, they managed product and field marketing, public relations, and branding for the Asia Pacific region, supporting a sales team that generated $20 million in revenue. In 2008, they briefly worked as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at netXccel, leading their sales and marketing efforts targeting US SMBs. Tarun then founded and served as CEO of JantaKhoj InfoServices Private Limited from 2009 to 2019, establishing the first and largest people search engine in India and eventually leading the company to profitability. In 2018, they joined LocaleIQ Corp as the Director of Customer Growth Marketing, where they established the initial marketing framework, prepared marketing plans for various target segments, and worked on their B2B, B2G intelligent location management solution. Most recently, in 2019, they joined Datto as the Director of Sales Enablement, where they established the Sales Enablement function, implemented and launched the DattoHub sales enablement platform, and drove sales enablement, training, communications, and technology to support the global sales team.

Tarun S Bangari has a Certificate Course in Digital Marketing Analytics from MIT Sloan School of Management. Tarun also has a Product Marketing Certified degree in Leadership from Product Marketing Alliance, which they pursued starting from 2021. Tarun holds an MBA in Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and a B Tech degree in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT (BHU) Varanasi. Tarun completed their Secondary and Senior Secondary education (10+2) from Manav Sthali School. In addition, Tarun has additional certifications as a Certified Community Hospice Volunteer from The Community Hospice, St. Peters Hospital and as a Seismic Certified Administrator from Seismic, obtained in the years mentioned respectively.
