Elias Issawi

Elias Issawi has extensive experience in the fields of geodesy, mapping, and geographic information systems. Elias began their career in 2012 as a Teacher Assistant, Chief of Academic Workshops, Geographic Information Systems Analyst, and Academic Tutor at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. In 2016, they took on the role of Senior Geo-Data Engineer at Zeibak & Sabbagh LTD. In 2018, they co-founded ValueHut as a GIS Specialist. In 2019, they became the Director of Research Development at Axis - Advanced Mapping Solutions. In 2020, they were appointed Head of 3D Mapping Department at the Survey of Israel. Currently, they are a Senior Project Manager at Datumate, a construction tech company.

Elias Issawi obtained a Master of Science in Mapping and Geo-Information Engineering System from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology between 2017 and 2020. Elias obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mapping and Geo-Information Systems from the same institution between 2011 and 2015. Elias also obtained certifications in Data Analysis from Udacity in March 2022, Data Science and Neural Network from 365 Data Science in 2020, Land Surveyor (Certified) from Israel Mapping Authority in 2018, Architects & Engineers from the Ministry of Economy and Industry, Israel in 2016, and CCNA1 + CCNA2 from Cisco in 2007.
