Jakub Kadlcak has extensive experience in materials development, currently serving as the Head of Material Development Mobility and General Industry at Datwyler Group since January 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing materials development and innovation, with a focus on the requirements of electrification and e-mobility. Previous roles include Head of Material Development Mobility, managing R&D projects, and serving as Manager Material Development Automotive, specializing in brake systems and rubber mixing technology. Jakub started a career as a Junior Researcher at Tomas Bata University in Zlín, focusing on advanced polymer materials, and completed a research internship at Continental, gaining hands-on experience in materials and chemical labs. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Macromolecular Science from Tomas Bata University in Zlín and an Engineer degree in Polymer Engineering from the same institution, along with studies at Queen Mary University of London and Chalmers University of Technology.
