Markus Schuhmann

Markus Schuhmann is an Intellectual Property Manager at Datwyler Group, where they focus on patent portfolio generation, IP awareness creation, and patent searching and landscaping. They obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from the University of Bern, following a Diplom-Ingenieur in Materials Science from Technische Universität München and Universität Salzburg. Prior to their current role, they served as an R&D Project Manager at Membrapor AG, where they managed new technology development and patent monitoring, and worked as a postdoctoral researcher and doctoral student, involved in space data analysis and instrument calibration for the ESA Rosetta Mission.
