Fred Engel

Fred Engel has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Fred is currently serving as the Director of IT at the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an IT Service Engineer at the same organization from June 2021 to April 2022. Before that, Fred worked as a Desktop Support Engineer at Cloudbreak Health from January 2021 to June 2021. Fred also held the position of End User Technology (EUT) Technician at NetJets from August 2018 to January 2021. Fred has experience in consulting as well, having worked as a Manufacturing Systems Consultant for HB Fisher Consulting to Advanced Drainage Systems from December 2013 to September 2014. Fred also served as the Director of Technology at the Ohio State Bar Association for a period of 15 years, from January 1998 to September 2013. Earlier in their career, Fred worked at Belden Wire and Cable as a QA Engineering and Materials Control professional and at Campbell Chain as an Industrial Engineer and Supervisor. Fred started their career as an intern (Co-op) in Marketing and R&D at Ashland Chemical. Overall, Fred Engel has a strong background in IT, consulting, and management.

Fred Engel obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. Fred attended the university from 1985 to 1989.
