Joan Aristei has a solid work experience background, starting in 1995 as Counsel at Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation. Joan then worked at Toyota Financial Services as Managing Counsel/National Strategic Planning Manager from 1996 to 2003. From 2003 to 2010, they served as VP, Chief Compliance Officer and Assistant General Counsel at JPMorgan Chase, where they provided proactive solutions to management on various legal, compliance and business issues. Following that, they joined Citi as Director from 2010 to 2014. At Oportun, they held the roles of Chief Compliance Officer/VP Regulatory Legal and Compliance from 2014 to 2018, and General Counsel and Chief Risk Officer from 2018 to 2023. Currently, they serve as the Chief Legal Officer at Dave starting in September 2023.
