Pete Marra has extensive work experience in various leadership and strategic planning roles. Pete started their career in 1999 at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they gained expertise in ERP projects and process improvement. Pete then joined Answerthink, Inc. as a Senior Consultant, overseeing ERP projects and developing business processes. In 2004, Pete founded The Leadership Emergence Group, LLC, a leadership and professional services firm focused on organizational development consulting. Pete later served as the Director of Technology at Velocity Technology Solutions and as a Global Program Manager at Microsoft. Pete also worked as the President of At the Gap Communications, where they developed cross-cultural learning and relationship-building technology systems. Prior to their current role as the Executive Vice President of Innovation and New Business at David C Cook, Pete was the COO of Servant Interactive, a company specializing in educational software development. Throughout their career, Pete has demonstrated a passion for digital technology, strategic planning, and operational efficiency.
Pete Marra attended The Citadel from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Business Management. Pete then pursued further education at Asbury Theological Seminary from 2003 to 2006, earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Leadership with a specialization in Leadership Development. Additionally, Pete Marra holds certifications such as Agile Methodology, Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB), ITIL V3, and Master Project Manager (MPM) | Certified Project Manager (CPM) from the Project Management Institute.
