Jose Gamero-Georgeson

Jose Gamero-Georgeson currently serves as a School Board Member for David Douglas School District and is a member of the Government Transition Advisory Committee for the City of Portland, aiding in the implementation of Measure 26-228. Active in the community, Jose holds a board position at the Powellhurst-Gilbert Neighborhood Association and participates as a Precinct Committee Person with Multnomah Democrats. Previous roles include Vice-President of the Hillsdale Neighborhood Association and management positions in various cultural organizations, including Director at Rose City Blues and Executive Director of the Portland Blues and Jazz Dance Society. Educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Florida and an Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies from Portland Community College.
