Maria Petro

Maria Petro is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in talent acquisition and construction inspection. Currently serving as Construction Inspector II for David Evans and Associates, Inc., since December 2023, Maria previously held senior technical recruitment roles at DoorDash and Okta, focusing on data engineering and product engineering, respectively. Active in diversity initiatives, Maria was Partnerships Committee Lead for Women@Okta and a member of the Recruiting Committee for People of Color. Maria's background also includes roles at Netflix, Uber, and Revel Systems, where skills in sales enablement and talent sourcing were developed. Maria's early career includes positions at AppDynamics and MapR Technologies, among others, with foundational experience as an HR Specialist at Fluor. Maria holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Clemson University.
