Samuel Winkler

Samuel Winkler is a Public Engagement Manager at David Evans and Associates, Inc., with extensive experience in law enforcement and community engagement. Samuel served as a Police Officer at the West Jordan Police Department and held various roles at the South Jordan Police Department, including Police Sergeant and Master Police Officer, where responsibilities included serving as Public Information Officer and Traffic Crash Reconstructionist. Previous positions include Assistant Administrator of Instructor Services for the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch and Police Chief for Escalante City. Samuel began a career in public service as an EMT-B at Garfield County Ambulance and has experience in retail management as a Department Manager for Kmart Corporation. Samuel holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Weber State University and an Associate degree in Criminal Justice from Salt Lake Community College.
