Anna Lawrence-Jones

Anna Lawrence-Jones is an experienced professional in patient and public involvement and engagement, currently serving as the Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement Lead at the Institute of Global Health Innovation since December 2018, where Anna developed the PPIE strategy and leads a dedicated team. In parallel, Anna has held the role of Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement Manager at Imperial College London since September 2016, collaborating with Lord Ara Darzi to oversee the PPIE strategy and establish the PPIE Advisory Board. Previous roles at Cancer Research UK included Research Funding Manager and Early Diagnosis Officer, where Anna contributed significantly to early diagnosis initiatives and patient involvement in research. Anna's early career included a Graduate Trainee position at Wellcome Trust and a role as a Research & Policy Officer at UKCDS, alongside international experience in a Spanish research team. Anna holds a 2.1 degree in Natural Sciences from Durham University.
