Jeffrey Akin

Jeffrey Akin is an experienced investor and advisor, currently serving at Essentialist since January 2024 and as the founder and managing partner of AKIN Ventures since September 2005, where the focus is on investing in innovative companies within the Health, Well-Being, and Lifestyle sectors. In addition to these roles, Jeffrey Akin holds positions as Chairman of the Board for the Health Information Project, Inc., and Senior Advisor for the David Lynch Foundation, contributing to initiatives that address health crises and promote stress-reducing practices. Akin's investment ventures include Casa Del Sol Tequila and Quantum Energy Squares, alongside advisory roles in Storelli. Prior to these endeavors, Jeffrey Akin built a successful career at ESPN and MTV Networks, specializing in international media sales. Akin holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BA in International Relations from the University of Colorado Boulder, in addition to completing an Executive Program at Singularity University.
