Leah Lewis

Leah Lewis is an experienced educator and medical professional currently serving as a Teacher of Science at David Ross Education Trust since February 2023, focusing on key stage 3 and 4 GCSE Science. Prior to this, Leah worked as a BST Instructor at Maersk Training, instructing on various safety and rescue courses, and as a First Aid and Medical Instructor at HOTA. Leah's extensive background includes roles as a Care Assistant at Home From Home Care and Ophthalmic Assistant at Newmedica, alongside numerous positions as an offshore medic with various companies, including Centrica Storage and Iqarus, where Leah gained expertise in remote medicine and trauma care. Additionally, Leah held a leadership role as a Team Lead at ASPECTS CARE LIMITED and worked as a Mental Health Worker at SECURE CARE UK LIMITED. Leah's foundational experience was built in the British Army as a Combat Medical Technician, culminating in the rank of Staff Sergeant, providing primary and trauma care. Leah holds multiple qualifications, including a degree in Education from the University of Wolverhampton and a Level 4 Certificate in Pre-Hospital Emergency Care from the University of Cumbria.
