Oren Shimony

Oren Shimony has a strong background in IT and information security management. Oren has held various leadership positions in companies such as PassportCard, DavidShield, SuperCom, Medison, and I-COM Communication. At SuperCom, they served as the Global IT Director, where they managed staff members and led the Infrastructure department. Oren also has experience in technical support, system administration, user support, and information security. Prior to SuperCom, Oren Shimony was the IT & Information Security Manager at Medison, where they managed budgets and conducted comprehensive work plans. Oren was also responsible for system maintenance and support, as well as setting up and managing a server room. As the CTO at I-COM Communication, Oren Shimony managed technological services and provided consulting across various projects. Overall, they bring extensive expertise in the field of IT and cyber security to their roles.

Oren Shimony completed their Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Derby in the years 2005 to 2008. Following this, they pursued further education at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, earning their degree in Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in 2011 to 2012. In 2019 to 2020, Oren enrolled in the same institution, Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, to acquire additional expertise in Data Protection Officer (DPO) training. Recently, in 2022, they also undertook a program called Energy Team to specialize in the field of Data Protection Officer.
