Dennis Culver

Dennis Culver is a financial advisor and paraplanner team leader at David White & Associates. Dennis previously worked as an associate advisor/paraplanner team lead at Insight Wealth Strategies from March 2017 to July 2021.

Culver began their career as a crime/breaking news reporter, photographer, videographer, online producer, general assignment reporter, sports reporter, and photographer for The News-Press in Fort Myers, Florida from 2009-2013. In this role, they covered crime and breaking news for online and print as a writer, photographer, and videographer. Dennis also made daily trips to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and Fort Myers Police Department to cover crime stories and completed public records research on a daily basis. In addition to these duties, Culver worked as a general assignment reporter, photographer, and videographer and occasionally covered high school football for the sports department.

From 2006-2009, Culver was the sports editor and staff writer for the Lehigh News Star where they handled all aspects of the sports section. This included writing and editing stories, managing freelance writers, covering a variety of high school and local sports including football, baseball, soccer, volleyball, golf, basketball, wrestling and many others. Dennis also wrote a weekly sports column and handled the majority of sports photos and videos for print and online. Additionally, Culver wrote sports stories, took photos and video for The News-Press sports department, wrote feature and breaking news stories and shot photos and video for the Lehigh News Star. Dennis completed three high school football special sections by writing stories, compiling stats and shooting photos and video. Dennis also designed the covers and produced the content for two football special sections.

Dennis Culver completed their undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Florida. Dennis then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida Gulf Coast University.

Dennis Culver reports to Christopher D. White, President. They are on a team with Gary Leger - Senior Partner, Matthew Halick - Partner & Financial Advisor, and Daniel Huston - Financial Professional.
