Sigrun Nilsen Rodrigues has extensive work experience in various marketing and leadership roles. Sigrun Nilsen is currently the Chief Marketing Officer at Davidhorn, where they oversee the merger of David Horn Communications and Indico into Davidhorn, a leading provider of technical interview solutions for law enforcement agencies. Prior to this, they worked as the VP of Marketing at Ardoq, where they built the Marketing team, developed branding strategies, and aligned marketing processes with other teams. Before that, Sigrun worked at Microsoft, where they served as the CMO Lead/Markedsdirektør in Norway and was responsible for marketing Microsoft technology to improve and innovate organizations in the country. Additionally, they held the position of Sr Marketing Communications Manager B2C, where they focused on changing brand associations and driving sales through effective marketing communication. Sigrun also has experience in the healthcare sector, having served as the Head of Digital at Norsk Medisinaldepot AS, where they managed the online store and implemented digital marketing strategies. Sigrun Nilsen also worked as a Project Manager, responsible for pharmacy acquisition and establishment projects. Furthermore, Sigrun gained early experience in the Back Office at ICAP Energy AS. Sigrun Nilsen Rodrigues began their education in 1998 at the University of Bergen (UiB), where they pursued a bachelor's degree in Economics. Sigrun Nilsen completed their studies in 2002 and obtained a degree known as "Cand.mag." with a field of study in Social economy, psychology, and history.
Afterward, in the same year, Sigrun enrolled at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and pursued a Siviløkonom degree with a specialization in Strategy and Management. Sigrun Nilsen successfully completed this program in 2006.
During their time at NHH, Sigrun also participated in an exchange program at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2005. This program allowed their to gain knowledge in the fields of Economics and Marketing.
Lastly, in 2019, Sigrun obtained a certification in Marketing Automation with HubSpot from the LinkedIn platform.
