Tim DeBruin is an experienced hospitality professional with a robust background in event sales and planning. Currently serving as Senior Corporate Director of Event Sales & Planning at Davidson Hospitality Group since February 2002, Tim oversees the success of these departments across approximately 85 hotels and resorts throughout the United States, including a mix of boutique offerings and branded properties under Hyatt, Hilton, Margaritaville, and Marriott. Prior to this role, Tim was the Regional Director of Catering and Convention Services at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts from October 1993 to February 2002, managing catering and convention services for 52 hotels and resorts in the United States and Caribbean. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Arts degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from The Culinary Institute of America and a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
