James Lin

James Lin has extensive experience in the technology and financial industries. James started their career at AT&T Bell Labs in 1990, where they worked as a Member of Technical Staff for six years. James then joined Goldman Sachs as a Sr. Systems Manager for two years before moving on to Martingale Technologies as the Director of Technology for five years. James then joined Sagamore Hill Capital Management as an IT Manager for two years. James later joined TPG-Axon Capital as the Head of Infrastructure, where they worked for 11 years. Currently, James holds the position of Head of Engineering at Davidson Kempner Capital Management, a role they have held since 2016.

James Lin has a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from NCCU. James then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Currently, they are a PhD Candidate in Computer Science from the same institute.
