Brad Atkins

Brad Atkins has a strong background in engineering, specializing in modeling and simulation. Brad currently holds the position of Senior Modeling and Simulation Engineer at Davidson Technologies Inc. since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division as a Lead Aerospace Engineer from December 2014 to February 2022. During their time at NSWCDD, they focused on developing successful flight test autopilots for guided weapons and designing agile and robust feedback schedules for high-performance capabilities. Brad holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech.

Brad Atkins completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics at Rhodes College from 2006 to 2010. Brad then pursued higher education at Virginia Tech, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from 2010 to 2014.
