Mary Laurens M. Minich

Mary Laurens M. Minich, Ed.D., serves as the Director of Children's Ministry at Davidson United Methodist Church since August 2025. Previously, Mary held various leadership roles at LEAD Public Schools, including Director of Academics and Chief Academic Officer from February 2021 to August 2025. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy State Director for the Noble Education Initiative and Director of the Office of Charter Schools at Metro Nashville Public Schools. Additional roles include Early Childhood Education Project Manager for the Metro Nashville Government and Hospital School Teacher at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Mary holds a Doctor of Education from Lipscomb University, a Master of Education in Special Education from Vanderbilt University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Millsaps College.
