Shannon Ward

Shannon Ward is an experienced veterinary professional currently serving as the VPIS Deputy Head of Service (Operations) and Information Scientist at the Veterinary Poisons Information Service since October 2021. In addition, Shannon has worked as a Registered Veterinary Nurse at Davies Veterinary Specialists since May 2019 and has previous experience as a Registered Veterinary Nurse - Nights at Dick White Referrals Limited and as a Student Veterinary Nurse at Scott Veterinary Clinic. Shannon became a qualified Veterinary Nurse in August 2018. Shannon is pursuing a Post Graduate Certificate in Medical Toxicology at Cardiff University from September 2024 to June 2025 and holds a Certificate of Veterinary Nursing in Emergency and Critical Care from VetsNow as well as a Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing from the College of West Anglia.
