Mshr Ric Higbee Sphr

Ric Higbee has extensive experience in human resources management. Ric is currently serving as the Deputy Director of Human Resources at Davis County Government since February 2021. Before that, they were a Human Resources Manager, specializing in compensation and HRIS, at Salt Lake County from November 2020 to February 2021. From 2007 to 2020, Ric held the position of Director of Human Resources at Davis Technical College, where they oversaw all HR functions, including recruitment, training, policy creation, and compliance. Prior to that, they worked as an HR Officer at Layton City from 2001 to 2007 and as an HR Manager at Orbit Irrigation Products from 1996 to 2001.

Ric Higbee, MSHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Utah State University in the years 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Operations Management and Supervision from Utah State University, spanning from 1982 to 1987.
