Jay Hanlon

Jay Hanlon, Colonel, United States Marine Corps (Retired), Certified Flight Instructor/Instrument, and Project Management Professional, currently serves as the Public Works Operations Manager for the City of Vista, where responsibilities include overseeing maintenance programs and divisions within the Public Works Department. Additionally, Hanlon acts as Chief Financial Officer for B'ZeeStrawBucket, managing significant financial assets and overseeing budgeting processes. With over three decades of service in the United States Marine Corps, Hanlon held various leadership positions, including Command Inspector General and Commanding Officer for multiple task forces, where operational readiness and training of military units were paramount. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Husson University, a Master of Arts in Military Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, and completion of a Project Management Professional Certification Training Course at Syracuse University.
