Scott Burton

Scott Burton's work experience begins in 2013 when they served as the Sergeant Major for 1st Battalion, 12th Marines, 3rd Marine Division until 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they attended the Command and Staff College while still being a part of the United States Marine Corps. In 2016, they became the Sergeant Major for 4th Marine Regiment until 2018. From 2018 to 2020, they served as the Sergeant Major for The Basic School. In 2019, they joined Davis Defense Group, Inc. as a Course Director and Adjunct Faculty.

Scott Burton completed their education in a chronological order as follows. From 2009 to 2011, they attended Columbia Southern University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Moving forward, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management at Walden University, studying from 2012 to 2013. Lastly, they continued their education at Walden University from 2013 to 2021, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Public Policy Analysis.
